How can I be sure that your beef is Scottish? 

All the beautiful beef that we supply is born and raised in Scotland, grazing on the lush pastures only found in this part of the world.  Athleat insist on full traceability details so that we can track the beef right back to the farm of origin. Read more here.

Is your beef organic?

No, but don't confuse 'organic' with 'high quality'.  Extensively reared, grass fed cattle which receive absolutely minimal medication produce the best beef in the world.  For more information please see a recent publication by the Food Standards Agency here and our 'Grassfed or Organic' article.

I'm not sure what cut I want...Can you help?

Absolutely.  Our friendly service team can assist you with any special cuts you require that you may not find listed on our website.  You can get in touch at info@athleat.co.uk or put some info into our special requests form and we'll get back to you.

How much will my delivery cost? 

Delivery is free when you spend £100 or more, or order as part of a group/organisation with a regular delivery to a training faciltiy or fixed address.  We charge a small supplement of £4.50 for orders under £100 or £7.50 for orders under £50 and £10 for orders under £25. Orders consisting of just our Snacks, Jerky and Coconut Oil is subsidised, just select the right delivery method at checkout.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Electron, Solo and PayPal all powered securely by SagePay - the largest payment Gateway in the UK.  If your eating is part subsidised or you want to discuss bulk order payment options for your club/organisation such as our APS then please contact us.

When will I get my delivery?

We target a 48-72 working hour turnaround from order to delivery (availability dependent).  See our delivery section for full details.

How will my order be packed?

Your order is securely vacuum-packed the day it is butchered and despatched the same day.  It is delivered in temperature controlled Athleat boxes and bags and the high tech ice packs, giving you the option of eating it straight away, refridgerating for later or freezing for a rainy day! Is it safe to send meat via a courier?

Definitely. Our packaging uses a temperature controlled cooling system so your meat is kept below 5°C from the time it is cut and prepared until it is delivered to you. It's colder than a fridge inside our boxes. And it can keep the food cool up to 48 hours!

What happens if my meat doesn't arrive?  Or I am not happy?

If for any reason you feel the quality of our meat is not up to the standard you expected, we will offer a full refund or replacement.  Please contact our customer service team at info@athleat.co.uk and you will be responded to within 24 hours, alternatively please call our freephone number weekdays from 8:00am to 6:00pm - 0800 0 988 122.

What is the shelf life of my order? 

The minimum refridgerated shelf-life of our fresh beef is 10 days, lamb and pork is 5 days.  Fresh poultry has a refridgerated shelf-life of at least 4 days.  If the product is frozen it will have a minimum frozen-life of 3 months and once defrosted should be used within 24 hours.
