Full Traceability Details of our Athleat Produce:There are extensive rules and regulations when it comes to the source of food, and meat in particular and the governing bodies stipulate the following criteria when it comes to food traceability (i.e meat): -
The Country of Origin Code (ie where the animal was born, - usually a 4 number code) -
The Country it was raised in (again a code) -
Where it was slaughtered. -
Where it was cut (as above) -
Batch Code -
Breed of animal (i.e) Ours are various Scottish Breeds -
Amount of days hung (i.e) Ours is at least 28 days -
Feed utilised by the farm (i.e) Our Beef is 100% grass fed Product | Origin | Plant No. | Feed | Chicken | N.England & Scotland - Frank Bird Poultry/Various
