Beef Short Ribs are also known as Jacobs Ladder and are taken from the short plate, which is between the brisket and flank, so beef short ribs have a similar tender taste.
A very popular in the US where they are a firm BBQ favourite, they are rapidly growing in popularity here, they are best cooked by either braising or slow-cooking on the BBQ or smoker.
Being well-marbled gives them a classic flavoursome beefy taste.
Due to the nature of the product and the fact that we butcher freshly each day the weight on the products can vary:
1 Bone weighs between 400-500g
2 Bones weigh between 900-1kg
3 Bones weigh between 1.3-1.4kg
We always attempt to give you the largest amount possible but due to natural variations of the size of the stock coming in that day we are sometimes restricted.
