Grass Fed Beef Sirloin Roasting Joint

Pack Weight: 28 Day Aged | 1kg | 1.5kg | 2kg | 2.5kg | 3kg

Our beef is all grass fed and allowed to mature for in excess of 28 days to intensify the flavour. This cut comes from the loin and is expertly boned and trimmed of excess fat. It is a beautiful deep red and lightly marbled meat with a layer of fat which adds great flavour and moisture during roasting.

This is the cut we take all our sirloin steaks from and it is perfect for a Sunday roast!

We recommend cooking this in a hot oven initially to render the fat on the outside then turn the oven down to around 160 deg for the remainder of the cooking. We like our roasts on the rare side but because this cut is so versatile however you want to cook your roast will be perfect. Check the meat regularly with either a temperature probe or a skewer to check that your roast is cooked exactly to your liking!

Provenance

Our British grass fed beef comes from farms and accredited beef suppliers in Somerset, the Midlands and Northern Ireland. These are all areas that have a long tradition of farming the land and cattle.
Our cattle live a life as close to natural as possible – they are well cared for and feed naturally on grasses and other crops that are grown on the farms where they are reared.
And thanks to their natural lifestyle, the meat they produce is high quality, beautifully textured and delicious.
